When we first came to Prathikshaa, my son barely interacted with others. Within months of therapy, he started communicating more and even enjoys group activities now. The team here is so caring — they treat every child like their own.
It took 4.5 years to find the right destination which is just two kilometres from our home and now I feel my daughter is in safe hands. We first noticed the issue when she was 18 months old and began therapy soon after. Over time we learned that occupational therapy should prioritise life skills needed for daily living. We enrolled her at Prathiksha when she was almost six and still not toilet trained. She was wetting up to five times an hour. While other centres asked us to send with diapers, Prathiksha asked us to send her without one and made toilet training a priority. Toilet training felt like climbing a mountain at first. The initial days were very tough for the team, as my daughter was frequently out of control and wet. The teachers and support staff at Prathiksha put in enormous, patient effort (it felt herculean), and gradually my daughter began to occasionally signal when she needs to use the toilet. We felt overwhelmed with Prathiksha’s team, as they are sharing our pain and supporting us in raising our kid. We thank the entire Prathiksha team from the bottom of our heart and wish them all a good health to continue the service to the society.
We started our classes in Prathikshaa through our Paediatrician... After occupational therapy, we came to know about the early intervention school.. Eshaan has been studying there for two years.. His sitting tolerance has developed a lot... This term, though he is non-verbal, his understanding skills improved. We took trips, and he enjoyed them a lot.. His skills are developing day by day.. We are grateful to our teachers and therapists for taking great care and effort for Eshaan...
It has been more than 4 years with Prathiksha. We are happy that our son is in very Safe and caring hands. Every event and every outing is well organised and well managed by Prathiksha Teachers, Therapist and Management. Improvement Tracking, Parent Training programs are beneficial for our journey. His writing skills are improving gradually. Every Behaviour is encountered with positivity and Guidance. We are very much thankful to Prathiksha for all support.
We are happy with the overall development progress of aarav in the one year I would like to thank the teachers, staff , and maid who are putting great efforts to bring him up. Last interaction with class teacher was very useful. We will also put all efforts in aarav development as suggested by teacher. Our suggestion/concern is aarav needs to train more on toilet training, speech/communication progress. With support of both ourselves (parent) and teachers that can be easily achivedImprovement Tracking, Parent Training programs are beneficial for our journey.
